How to make an internet telephone call |
| After completing the setup section you are ready to make internet calls. |
To start the call IPMate S80 - Lift the handset and press the 'On/Off' button or equivalent and the Skype window will appear. IPMate S60.- The bottom line of the keypad
consists of 3 coloured buttons.

If the person you want to call is not yet on the contact
list then you can first add the contact and a speed dial number which is
stored for future use.

| To assign a speed dial number to a contact. Right click on the required contact to get this screen |
|
|
| To call someone already on the list just enter their Speed-dial number here: |
eg to
call Aunt Polly just enter '2' here |
| To call a SkypeOut
number (ie the receiver is not using Skype) IPMate S80 - you need to dial "00"+"country code"+ "area code" + "local number" and then '#' to start the call. eg to call 9143-5678 in Sydney you would dial '0061291435678' and then press '#' to connect. |

You can see the progress of the call on the screen. |

| If the line is busy it will show on the screen instead of 'Connecting'. Similarly if the number is invalid or for whatever reason the call cannot connect you will hear a message through the phone and/or on the screen eg 'Invalid number'. |
| When the call connects the
message changes to
|
|
To finish the call
IPMate S80 - Press "On/Off' or equivalent on handset which terminates the call and minimizes the Skype window. IPMate S60Press

How to receive an IPMate call |
| With IPMate S80 - when your handset rings, lift it , press "On/Off' or equivalent and the call will connect. To end the call either end can press "On/Off' or equivalent |

- when the IPMate S60 rings,
lift it , press
