Setup your USB DIAL internet telephone:
Step 2. Download and install the IPMate software on your computer.

You will have either the S80 USB adaptor (does not look like a phone - its a small box) or the S60 USB phone (looks like a phone). Get the software for your device, as follows:-

For IPMate S80. Right-click here to download installation file for the S80 / S85 to your computer. Name of file: S80.exe. Choose Save as or Save link as and save the file to your desktop.

For IPMate S60. Right-click here to download the installation file for the S60 to your computer. Name of file: S60.exe. Choose Save as or Save link as and save the file to your desktop.

Note: During the installation you will be asked for a password. The password is on the instruction sheet that accompanied the pack. If you do not have a password, click here.

You are now ready to install the software:

Double-click on the S80.exe or S60.exe file (name of file you downloaded is shown above) to start the IPMate setup. Follow the screen prompts as shown below:-

Note: The illustrations below are for Windows XP. Your screens may be different - just follow the prompts. Installation is quite straight forward.

Note: As mentioned above, during the installation you will be asked for a password. The password is on the instruction sheet that accompanied the pack. If you do not have a password, click here.

First you will see some installation screen messages - usually click Next through all of them. Then you may see some of the screens below.

Note: The screen pictures below may not correspond to the screens you see on your screen. Installation is straight forward and you should be able to simply follow the prompts on the screen.

Click OK, then click I Agree to the licence agreement.

Note: Your screen may look similar to the first or second one below. They are to do with "Select components to install". The installation components to install are shown, click Next:-

(You may have either of the screens shown below, or a similar screen - just click Next for all the setup screens)

Usually accept the destination folder shown and click Next.

It may ask you for the Start menu folder - click Next or Install.

That completes the installation:-

You may see a screen like this - click Close:

or this (with Run IPMate checked) - click Finish.

Important: If you see a screen like this:

Be sure to choose the first option: Allow this program to use Skype. Then click OK.

Proceed to step 3.

Step 3. Connect the IPMate S60 or IPMate S80 to your computer.
