What to do if result is

In the unlikely event of having completed the setup in the correct order, and rebooting the PC you get the failed connection icon do the following.

1) Unplug the unit from the USB port and replug it in. If the following screen appears

ensure that the first option is selected and then "OK"

If at this point the telephone icon is still not yellow then open Skype and click the Tools menu

Select 'Options' and then click the 'Privacy' item for this screen.

Skype manage

Select "Manage other programs' access to Skype" (bottom of screen) and the following screen will display.

The yellow telephone etc should be visible in the above screen. If it is not you need to rerun 'setup.exe' for IPMate. Before doing so right click on the IPmate icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Select EXIT and then answer YES to 'Really quit'. The icon will be disappear.

Rerun Setup.EXE for IPMate and then reboot and the yellow or blue telephone icon should appear in the bottom right hand corner.
