How do I adjust the speaker volume with the S60?

Click on the telephone icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen to bring up the following

Select Volume and then make adjustments as required on the screen.

Volume settings on the S60 phone

(This note does not apply to the S80 adaptor).

The optimum setting is to move the left volume setting almost to the bottom. Move it to the bottom and then move it up a fraction. The other two volume settings can be moved to the bottom.

If you hear a whistling noise, your volumes are too high. You can always return to the volume setting again later and try other settings to see which works best for you.

Calling emergency '000' numbers

If a call is made through the traditional phone network the location of the caller is available to the emergency service so if the caller is unable to talk the service still knows where to respond to. When an internet call is made the location of the caller is not readily available so calls to '000' should not be made with internet phone.
