The Skype echo test service.

Open Skype
Click on the Skype icon on the start bar (near the clock) and choose open Skype.
Add the Skype Echo service as a contact as follows:

To add a new contact :

Click on the button and the following screen appears
 
Type in echo123 and then click Next. Finish adding in the echo123 contact. Now assign this a speed dial number:-

To assign a speed dial number to a contact. Right click on the required contact (echo123 ) to get a screen similar to this:-
 

Assign a number, say 6, to echo123.

To call someone already on the list just enter their Speed-dial number.

On the S60 internet phone: Dial 6#.

On the S80 phone: List up your phone and get dialing tone (you may need to press a button to get this- it depends upon the phone you are using). Note: The dial tone will sound different to the dial tone you get when you use it with Telstra. Dial 6#.

After a short wait it will connect to the Skype echo service. After the message, say something and it will be played back to you.
